After nearly two years of study, reflection, and growth, I’ve officially completed my 300-hour yoga teacher training with The Mindful Life Practice. This September, I had the privilege of finishing the final module in Bali, Indonesia—an experience that felt less like a destination and more like a homecoming.
Led by my teacher Alexandra McRobert, this training was more than a deep dive into yoga assists, sequencing, and anatomy. It was a journey inward. Each day in Bali was steeped in ritual, movement, and connection—with the land, with my fellow classmates, and with parts of myself I hadn’t met in years.
My classmates were radiant souls—wise, vulnerable, playful, and kind. We laughed, practiced, and held space for one another in ways that felt like family. The support I felt in that circle was unlike anything I’ve known. It reminded me that yoga isn’t just about alignment or technique—it’s about community, courage, and the willingness to be seen.
And Bali… Bali was magic. The people were generous and open-hearted, the culture rich with reverence and rhythm. I found myself healing old wounds I didn’t know I was still carrying. The island held me gently, nudging me toward softness and strength in equal measure.
If you’ve ever considered solo travel, let me say this: it’s not scary—it’s expansive. Do your research, trust your instincts, and let the world surprise you. Bali surprised me in the best ways.
This training has transformed how I teach and how I live, and I carry this experience into every class I offer. Thank you to everyone who’s been part of this journey. I’m so grateful to be walking this path—and to be sharing it with you.

I am so proud of you for going for it all!! You are incredible and so glad you are on this journey!! I love you!!
